About Us

Spokes Cycle Care & Repair is the dedicated bicycle servicing workshop based in Chelmsford, Essex.  We have been servicing bikes and keeping our customers rolling for over 12 years.

We give the same high level of care whatever your ride. Old bikes, new bikes, faithful trusty steeds or high-end carbon machines. We don’t discriminate, whatever you ride you will always receive a warm welcome from Silke and Ian at the Spokes Workshop.

" My old Dawes bike was in bit of a state so called and spoke to Silke about arranging a time slot to bring the bike in. Was greeted by Silke and Ian and after an initial quick assessment Ian said a lot of work would be required to the point that it might be worth buying a new bike! I left the bike with them and after an hour or so he called me back with a more accurate quote of what work needed doing. I decided it was time to get a new bike and Ian even recommended good local bike shops! They did not charge me for the assessment and gave me an honest opinion which concurred with what I was thinking. I will certainly use Spokes again if I need a bike service!"

My off road bike had a number of problems so I've booked it in for a full service and it will be ready in a week. The shop was full of repaired bikes, I estimate 20 or more, so they seem to be very popular."

Through our extensive supplier network we are able to source a wide range of products and components from most major brands such as Campagnolo, Continental, FSA, Shimano and SRAM.

We offer a range of services and servicing options to suit your bike, your cycling needs and your budget and we are more than happy to share our expertise and discuss all and any issues whether by phone or preferably face to face.
